White Star Line Coat Hanger

Have you ever wondered how first-class passengers hung their clothes up?

Probably not! But here is a fine example of a coat hanger from a White Star Line vessel, likely the RMS Olympic – Titanic’s sister ship.

Identical coat hangers were found throughout the Titanic. This example has seen many years of service, evident by the worn groove marks around the back.
